Who is Freedom Health?
Freedom Health is an incorporated Florida health plan independently owned and financed by physicians and other private investors. The Freedom Health corporate headquarters is located in Ocala, Florida with an operations center located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The company was founded to design and offer excellent health insurance products to Floridians. Freedom Health is contracted with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to offer a Medicare Advantage plan in Marion, Broward, and Dade counties.

What products will Freedom Health offer?
Freedom Health will begin by offering a Medicare Advantage product with the ultimate goal to launch three HMO product lines – Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid. Commercial plans will include coverage for individuals and families, as well as group plans for small businesses with 1 to 50 employees. These enrollees may also select from plans that qualify with the IRS as “High Deductible Health Plans” for Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Enrollees change the administration of their Medicare benefits to the Medicare Advantage company, therefore diminishing or even eliminating the need for “Medigap” or “Medicare Supplements” and replacing them with our “no premium” plan with added benefits including Part D prescription drug benefits at NO premium, NO deductible, and NO gap, preventive services, and vision care. Where will Freedom Health offer these plans?
Freedom Health has received approval from CMS to offer the Medicare Advantage plan in Marion, Broward, and Dade counties in 2006.
